Embellish Your Image: Portrait in Collage:
Expand the notion of portrait and play with drawings, personal photos, found materials and appropriated imagery.

CLASSES meet once a week for several weeks. All classes (2 ˝ or 3 hours per session) include introduction to and demonstration of collage materials, tools and techniques, and also include dialogue about important historic and contemporary collage artists. Each student will receive personal attention, and critique of works in progress (if they wish).

The Collage Artist (Beginner): 
Explore collage through weekly projects (all materials provided). Each project will focus on the ideas, images and techniques of an important collage artist in recent history (including Picasso, Ernst, Schwitters, Cornell, Rauchenberg, and other greats).

The Collage Artist (Advanced):
Explore new or expand current work through collage media. Work on paper (or wood panel) in multiples or large format, or work on canvas. Each week will include dialogue and critique.

SPECIAL INTENSIVE ART IMMERSION Workshop an experience that combines demonstrations, presentations, and one-on-one attention, geared toward advanced students. Limit 4 students per session. To sign up for more information please email me..
