I found an image at Pinterest that inspired me to make 4 more collage portraits for an e-workshop for students. Every portrait has a magazine face or body and vertical strips of paper that touch or overlap. The images here are thumbnails. Click on the image to see some are horizontal and one is vertical.

Project Plan: Work on a medium weight substrate like Bristol paper. Find a magazine photo you like (man or woman) that fills the substrate top to bottom (not as wide as the page). Cut decorative paper into strips in different widths as tall as the face or body. Have some strips overlap. I will add your finished collage to this post. Please send the image to: nancy@nikkal.com.
